How long does it take to sell RM1 billion worth of homes? The answer is roughly three months. This is the sales number that Sime Darby Property recently reported as a direct result of their Parade of Homes promotion which lasted from 6 Mar to 15 June 2009. Over 1,600 units were sold.

According to Dato’ Tunku Putra Badlishah, managing director of Sime Darby Property, the main factors contributing to strong sales in the campaign are due to benefits like interest rate of BLR minus 2.3 per cent, special down payment scheme and “no-interest” charge during construction.
