TSI Holdings Sdn Bhd is developing a wholesale city on 14.5 acres in Klang with a gross development value (GDV) of more than RM1.5 billion. With a plan to have more than 2,000 units of shops dedicated to the wholesale business, it will be the largest in Malaysia and the South East Asia region.
The project is split into four phases over a target period of eight to 10 years for completion. The first phase which offers about 200-odd single storey shops will be open in Q4 this year. All units are for lease only for the wholesale business. Plans for the second phase have been submitted and the launch should be sometime the middle of next year.
TSI Holdings is a relatively new player in the property development market since their entry in 2000. Today, TSI have more than 1,800 units completed with a GDV of about RM500 million. Just early this year, the group launched First Residence mix development in Kepong. The project has two levels of shops and 474 units of condominiums in two towers. Completion for the project is targeted by the middle of 2011.
TSI have plans early next year to launch a residential development in Puchong which will comprise of 520 units of condominium, and 12 units of shops. The project has an estimated GDV of over RM130 million.
