UM Land joint-venture buys Puteri Harbour land for RM16.3 million
Exercise of option on purchase agreements made in 2008 Nov 11, 2009
Nusajaya Consolidated Sdn Bhd, a 50 percent joint-venture
company of UM Land and UEM Land Berhad has exercised a call option agreement to
purchase 2.2 acres of land in Puteri Harbour for RM16.3 million.
In a Bursa Malaysia filing, UM Land said that Nusajaya
Consolidated Sdn Bhd has exercised the option to purchase one of two parcels,
namely Parcel A3 in an option to purchase agreement dated 14 October last year
and supplemental option to purchase agreement dated 13 July 2009 from Bandar
Nusajaya Development Sdn Bhd and UEM Land Berhad.
The option to purchase the other land parcel measuring
6.6 acres will expire on 31 December 2009.
