‘1 Roof = 1 Tree’, an environmental conservation campaign, was launched recently in Ipoh by MONIER Malaysia, together with Total Investment Sdn Bhd. For every MONIER Energy Efficient roof purchased by developers, MONIER will plant a tree at their development.

Through this initiative, a total of 48 trees will be planted at Total Investment’s Uplands development in Ipoh. In addition to Ipoh-based Total Investment, Gemar Jaya Development Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur, and Pangkoo Maju Sdn Bhd in Perlis are participating in the campaign. MONIER is on the lookout for more suitable tracts of land to cultivate ‘green parks,’ and has set up a Tree Bank comprising young trees.
