Sime Darby’s Delmara records robust sales
Apr 11, 2011
Delmara, the first two-and-a-half- storey link homes by Sime Darby Property Berhad at Bandar Bukit Raja township saw good sales since being opened to the public recently.

Sime Darby said 85% of its 54 units were snapped up just two days after the sales opening.

This was reminiscent of the developer’s two-storey Avani homes in the same township, which saw all of its 194 units sold just three days after the launch in January.

There are still choice units of Delmara available with prices starting from RM690,000 onwards.

Delmara offers six unit types with built-up areas ranging from 3,004 sq ft to 3,562 sq ft.

The development’s prominent feature is the rainwater harvesting system used for flushing the toilets and watering the gardens. This system, which translates into savings for homeowners as they need not use water from the main supply, is part of the developer’s continuous effort to develop sustainable and environmentally conscious communities.

The developer’s latest offering also features lakeside views.

In maintaining the modern contemporary architectural theme of Bandar Bukit Raja, Delmara features passive design aspects such as cool roof that reflects the heat back into the atmosphere; full height windows for the living hall and master bedroom; and sleek concrete cantilevered hood and sill, all designed to maximise light and ventilation.

All bedrooms on the first floor come with en suite bathrooms, while supplementary sun-shading elements to reduce glare and temperature have been included in the design of all units facing the lake.

Delmara is the 13th phase to be launched in the Bandar Bukit Raja township. Since the township’s launch in 2002 almost all of the phases have been fully taken up, with only a few units remaining from recent launches.

Since August 2010, Bandar Bukit Raja has seen five new residential phases added to its 1,638-acre development, of which 289 acres comprise residential properties.

Sime Darby Property said homeowners in the township have in some cases experienced a capital appreciation of some 30 percent since their purchase.
