Equine Capital Berhad has launched da:mén, a freehold mixed development project consisting of serviced apartments, shop offices and retail mall in the USJ area.
da:mén which means “the Gateway” in Mandarin, is located at the strategic intersection fronting Jalan Kewajipan and Jalan Subang Permai.
It is a joint development project between Revenue Concept Sdn Bhd as the land owner and Equine Park Country Resort Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Equine Capital Berhad, as the developer.
Chairman of Equine Capital Berhad Datuk Seri Tengku Ahmad Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah said, “With the combination of the right team, concept, infrastructure and location, da:mén is on its way to become the hottest new mixed development in USJ.”
The 400, 000 sq ft retail mall is spread across seven levels.
Each level will be dedicated to a theme; Beauty Kingdom, Fashion Add Ons, Tech, Track, Travel & Toys; and Leisure & Entertainment.
It has received overwhelming tenant interest especially for the F&B component, which will feature an open-air boulevard for alfresco dining and an enclave of F&B outlets, bistros, cafes and delis.
Food Republic, operated by the BreadTalk Group, has signed on as one of the key anchor tenants in the F&B segment.
Joining Food Republic are several other major F&B chains with operations within the region, some making their first foray into the Malaysian vibrant F&B market.
The serviced apartments comprising two 23 storey towers, hold 480 units. The built-up areas range between 723 sq ft to 1,100 sq ft with prices starting from RM350,000 onwards.
The 68 units of shop offices consists of 2, 5 and 6-storey shop offices.
Similar to the serviced apartments, the shop offices are also connected to the rest of the development.
The serviced apartments and shop offices have received overwhelming response from buyers and tenants both locally and regionally with 80% of the shop offices sold.

The launch on Saturday was officiated by Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abd Khalid bin Ibrahim.
