Trinity Group’s project safe
Jul 19, 2011
Trinity Group said the highest level of safety measures will be taken when carrying development work at the site of their latest project, The Z Residence.

Recently, residents of the nearby Bukit OUG Condominium claimed that the property developer had disregarded their safety and convenience with the development of the project.

They are also concerned with the hill-leveling project that is taking shape behind Bukit OUG Condominium.

The residents raised concerns that they are subjected to possible failure of the slope, exposure to dust and grime from the excavation of the hill and traffic congestion upon commencement of construction and completion of the Z Residence.

On the hill-leveling project, Trinity Group said that the design and development plan of the Z Residence has gone through stringent review and has been approved by all relevant authorities such as DBKL and IKRAM (an independent consultant for hillside development).

The property developer said that due to existing rules and regulations, as advised by local commissioning authorities, the IKRAM report cannot be disseminated freely for public viewing.

However, Trinity Group has notified the residents that they may review the report at the consultant’s office if they wish to.

“The fact that Trinity Group Sdn Bhd have had all our Building and Infrastructure plan approved and subsequently obtained our Developer’s License and Sales Permit proves that this development is safe and in line with the occupational safety requirements by the local authorities,” it said in a statement on Thursday.

It added that based on the 1982 national land survey, the existing impact on the landslide was already created when the Bukit OUG condo was developed by MBF Properties.

“Trinity Group assumes the role of a responsible developer in leveling the hill not only for the safety of their potential residents but also for the safety of the surrounding communities.”

Upon completion of the project, the gunite slope next to Bukit OUG Condominium will be brought down to 9.0m height, improving slope stability.

The building platform will also be lowered to a level on par with Bukit OUG Condominium.

Trinity Group will invest in a RM3million-link road connecting the development site with Bukit Jalil Highway to improve connectivity and traffic conditions in the area.

The Z Residence spans across 6.7 acres of freehold land in Bukit Jalil. It consists of four blocks, housing 1,136 condominium units.
