iProperty.com Malaysia’s unique visitors grew by 116% in the first half of 2011, surging ahead of competitors to reinforce the company’s position as the nation’s top property website.
Compared to the same period last year, iProperty.com Malaysia saw an increase in the number of unique visitors between June 2010 to June 2011, from 429,276 to 930,000.
There was also a 71% increase in the number of listings listed on the site, from 100,001 to 171,000.
The same period also saw the number of agents increased by 62%, from 4,318 to 7,000 agents.
Chief executive officer of iProperty.com Group, Shaun Di Gregorio said, “The ‘Unique Visitors’ chart obtained from Google Analytics and Google AdPlanner showed a vast and unmatched difference in market share among other property websites with a total of 930,000 unique visitors viewing over 260,000 properties for sale and rent on the website in the month of June this year alone.”
He said that visitors to the site also spent more than 12 minutes browsing over 21,000,000 pages for properties, news and everything property-related with most users returning back to the site at an average of 2.5 times a month.
Di Gregorio added that to stay ahead of competition, iProperty.com Malaysia strives to develop and launch highly innovative and market-centric products enabling it to become a trusted brand for all things property.
More than 6,000 apps have been downloaded since iProperty.com Malaysia launched Southeast Asia’s first Android app for property search.
There was also a 680% increase in mobile visitorship to iProperty.com Malaysia between May 2010 to May 2011 since the launch of a similar app for the iPhone and iPad.
The new formation of partnerships with websites such as Mitula.com, apartment-penang.com, feedgeorge.com and SME Corp and an additional print partner, Utusan Malaysia Idea Kini Classifieds, further increases and widens iProperty.com Malaysia’s advertisers’ prospects to generate more leads and reach more property investors.
