For a good exposure to the latest in green building architecture and technologies, head to Singapore this 14-16th Sept for the Build Eco Xpo (BEX) Asia 201. Held at Singapore’s Suntec Convention Centre, the exhibition showcases green building architecture, design, products, practices and technologies for environmental sustainability
Major players such as Philips, Toshiba, Carrier and many others are some of the big name participants. This year’s event is expected to see a 25% increase in exhibitors compared to last year’s exhibition with a huge delegation from Malaysia.
Among the noted speakers are Ms Louise Chua who has more than 18 years of experience in the exhibition and conference industry and manages the Green/Energy portfolio with Reed Exhibitions. Another one is Mr Eddy Susilo who is the Country Director (Indonesia) for Building and Construction Authority (Singapore). Mr Susilo is actively involved in the Green Mark assessments for building projects in Singapore.
The three day event will also take place alongside the International Green Building Conference (IGBC) 2011 which is focused on topics such as tropical architecture and green building case studies. It will also feature new topics with an emphasis on sustainable construction, buildings of the future and sustainable operations and maintenance.
