S P Setia proposes to develop retail mall in Setia Alam Township
Proposed sale of land within township and a joint venture to build mall

Bandar Setia Alam Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of S P Setia has proposed to sell 30.5 acres of freehold land in the Setia Alam Township to Greenhill Resources Sdn Bhd. The transaction is valued at RM120 million.

 

Additionally, Bandar Setia Alam has also proposed a joint venture with Land Lease Retail Investment Fund 2 Limited to build a retail mall on the said land. It is envisioned that Phase 1 of the planned retail mall will be 65,000 sqm which translates into 700,000 sq ft net lettable area. Phase 1 of the retail mall, with the expected development cost of RM450 million, will serve the Setia Alam and Setia Eco Park townships.
