Hua Yang Bhd has officially launched Symphony Heights @ Selayang, its latest property venture in the Klang Valley that it avers to be a strategic location just 15 minutes from the Kuala Lumpur city centre.

The project is accessible via eight different routes: Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2), Ampang Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway, Jalan Ipoh-Rawang, North Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), Kuala Lumpur Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS), Guthrie Corridor Expressway, Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP), and Karak Highway.

Developed by Daya Niaga Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hua Yang, the project takes up 2.97 acres and comprises three blocks of 29-, 30- and 33-storey service apartments. Boasting affordable price tags, the units are priced between RM135,200 and RM324,500. The project is expected to generate an overall gross development value (GDV) of RM180 million.

Its first phase, comprising 544 units, was soft launched in July and is scheduled for completion before July 2011. Units in Phase One come with built-ups of 863 sqf and 879 sqf two-bedroom apartments, 950 sqf three-bedroom apartments, and a 3+1 with a built-up of 1,246 sqf.

According to Ho, the apartments boast a contemporary design and are rectangular in shape to help owners maximise the usage of space, and has north-south orientation to avoid heat from the sun.

Facilities at Symphony Heights @ Selayang include a free-form swimming pool, squash courts, community hall, poolside cafeteria, outdoor exercise area, children’s playground, gymnasium and a fully-covered car park.

“To date, we have 1,900 registrants and over 200 units have been booked through soft selling and word of mouth. There is an early bird discount of 10 per cent with free legal fees for the Sale & Purchase Agreement, and an affordable RM500 for down payment,” said Ho. He added that the discounts are part of the company’s objective to provide affordable housing in strategic locations.
