Civil engineering construction company Loh & Loh Corp Bhd recorded a higher pre-tax profit of RM12.02 million for its first half financial year ended June 30, 2008 from a pre-tax profit of RM8.14 million in the same period of 2007. The group announced in a statement yesterday that its revenue rose to RM160.79 million from RM132.98 million previously.

It also said that the better performance was mainly due to the construction and property division. Its construction division recorded an increase in revenue of RM132.22 million and profit before tax of RM8.25 million, compared to revenue of RM124.08 million and profit before tax of RM7.33 million for the previous financial period.
