A premier yet energy efficient residential project is taking shape in Putrajaya. Developed by Putrajaya Perdana Bhd (PPB) subsidiary Senandung Budiman Sdn Bhd, the resort-themed D’Heron at the Lakes will feature 19 units of two-storey bungalows over 6.4-acres in Precinct 16.

The freehold development offers lot sizes ranging from 9,951sq ft to 15,574sq ft and built-up areas from 4,604sq ft to 4,897sq ft that boasts six bedrooms and bathrooms. The bungalows will come in a choice of five designs priced between RM2.9 million to RM3.7 million.

Touted to be the most prestigious address in the administrative capital, the RM54 million D’Heron is nestled among the lowest density area within Putrajaya’s 20 precincts, said senior general manager Mr Mak Hong Seng at the media preview of the development today.

“As a leader in designing and constructing energy efficient buildings, D’Heron is our first energy efficient foray in the residential sector.”

Mak added, “However, we have already made a name for ourselves in energy efficiency with the Low Energy Office building for the Ministry of Energy, Water and Communications in Putrajaya as well as the Zero Energy Building for Pusat Tenaga Malaysia.”

Phase 1 of the development is in the midst of construction, which will consist of four units, while the remainder 15 units will be a part of phase 2. The show units are expected to be completed by August.

“The urban resort lakefront bungalows coupled with the extravagance of a large garden area ensures a haven-like home,” he said, adding that PPB hopes to achieve 50% sales up to the official launch to be held in the near future.

D’Heron is in close proximity to Alamanda Shopping Mall, the Smart School and neighbouring shop offices as well as Precinct 16’s Neighbourhood Commercial Centre, which comprises of a food court, recreational facilities, including a swimming pool, badminton and squash courts, gym, auditorium, primary and secondary school, a sports complex, a mosque and a wet market.
