SPK expects RM400m sales from 3 residential projects
Sharikat Permodalan Kebangsaan Bhd (SPK) is expecting a surplus of RM400 million in sales this year from its three key residential development projects in the Klang Valley and Sungai Petani, Kedah.

Sharikat Permodalan Kebangsaan Bhd (SPK) is expecting a surplus of RM400 million in sales this year from its three key residential development projects in the Klang Valley and Sungai Petani, Kedah.

The projects consist of Cahaya SPK in Shah Alam, Sunway SPK in Damansara and Bandar Amanjaya in Sungai Petani, said managing director Saiful Aznir Shahabudin.

The Cahaya SPK project comprises of 314 units of bungalows, cluster vilas and superlink houses in which the company expects RM85 million in sales.

SPK expects RM352.8 million worth of sales for its Sunway SPK project in Damansara, which is scheduled to be launched next month. The development comprises of 196 semi-detached units.

In addition, the company hopes to rake in RM28.8 million of sales from it 120 single-storey bungalows in Sungai Petani.

The total gross development value of property development projects by SPK Homes has exceeded the RM600 million mark over the past five years.

Saiful Aznir also announced that the company has planned to relocate its corporate headquarters to the Cahaya SPK development in Shah Alam in early 2009. Its previous headquarters in Kuala Lumpur’s Golden Triangle has been sold for RM80 million.
