The Express Rail Link (ERL) connecting Kuala Lumpur Sentral and the Kuala Lumpur International Airport will be expanded to include Seremban and Port Dickson in the near future.

In addition to the proposal, Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hassan announced that Nilai and Seremban would be a part of the Greater Klang Valley.

He said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Badawi is eager to see all three areas in the state to be developed to help ease the congestion in the Klang Valley, especially those affecting the housing and industry sectors.

“Land is expensive in the Klang Valley, which makes it less practical for housing and industrial development, while land in Negeri Sembilan is still affordable. With easier accessibility, an efficient and fast transportation system would encourage more development,” Mohamad added.
