Mont Kiara Damai was rated 79.3 points by Building and Construction Authority (BCA) of Singapore based on its Construction Assessment System (CONQUAS) for architectural works. Not only that, it was also awarded with Malaysia Property Award 2005 for Best Residential Development awarded by FIABCI.

Sunrise is a very familiar and reputable name in residential and commercial development. It was responsible on most of development projects in Mont Kiara vicinity including Mont Kiara Aman, Mont Kiara Bayu, Mont Kiara Astana, Mont Kiara Sophia, Mont Kiara Pelangi, Laman Suria, and The Residence; as well as on-going 11 Mont Kiara and 10 Mont Kiara. Besides that, it is the same developer for Solaris Dutamas and Solaris Mont Kiara, as well as Plaza Mont Kiara.

Mont Kiara Damai is the most exclusive residential back then in 2006, even with the mass of new residential developments in the vicinity, it is said that Mont Kiara Damai is still among the top. It is not a shock as it offers exclusivity and being built as well as managed by the reputable developer Sunrise.

Demand for the large sized apartment units seemed to be overwhelming in Mont Kiara in recent years. Even both Mont Kiara Damai and Mont Kiara Aman were reportedly almost fully occupied in 2007.
